John Roof Learn 
John Roof was born on June 3rd, 1869 in Green Twp., Indiana Co., PA. John Roof's father was George Learn and his mother was Hannah Catharine Black. His paternal grandfather is John Learn and his paternal grandmother was Catherine Rodkey. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Charles, Samuel Benton, Hugh Franklin, Jacob Howard, Matilda, Elizabeth Jane, Anna Belle, Melissa Catherine, Mildred Pearl and Grace Amanda. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 87 on October 20th, 1956 in Clarksburg, Indiana Co., PA.General Notes
