George Learn

George was born on March 26th, 1820 in Salina, Bell Twp, Westmoreland Co., PA. George's father was John Learn and his mother was Elizabetha Ashbaugh. His maternal grandparents were Adam Ashbaugh and Anna Eva Elizabeth Steiner. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, John, Jacob, Adam D., Peter, Henry, David, William Hezekiah, Susan, Elizabeth, Sarah and Anna Maria. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 73 on April 29th, 1893 in Grant Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
