David Learn

David was born on November 5th, 1827 in Salina, Bell Twp, Westmoreland Co., PA. David's father was John Learn and his mother was Elizabetha Ashbaugh. His maternal grandparents were Adam Ashbaugh and Anna Eva Elizabeth Steiner. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, John, Jacob, Adam D., George, Peter, Henry, William Hezekiah, Susan, Elizabeth, Sarah and Anna Maria. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 11 on May 2nd, 1839 in Cookport, Green Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
