Ioannes II+ Komnenos 
Ioannes II+ was born on September 13th, 1087 in Constantinople, Turkey. Ioannes II+'s father was Alexios+ Komnenos and his mother was Eirene+ Dukaina. His paternal grandfather was Ioannes Kouropalates+ Komnenos and his paternal grandmother is Anna+ Dalassena; his maternal grandparents were Andronikos+ Doukas and Maria Of+ Bulgaria. He had a brother and two sisters, named Isaakios, Eudokia and Theodora+. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 55 on April 8th, 1143.General Notes
