Theodora was born in 1116. Theodora's father was Ioannes II+ Komnenos and her mother was Eirene+ Arpad. Her paternal grandparents were Alexios+ Komnenos and Eirene+ Dukaina; her maternal grandparents were Laszlo I+ Arpad and Adelheid Von+ Rheinfelden. She had two brothers and a sister, named Andronikos+, Manuel I+ and Maria. She is the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
