Margaret was born about 1621 in Walton, Suffolk, England. Margaret's father was Theophilus Howard and her mother was Elizabeth Home. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Howard and Catherine Knyvett; her maternal grandfather was George Home and her maternal grandmother is Catherine Gordon. She had a brother and a sister, named James and Frances. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died on August 24th, 1689 in Islesworth, Middlesex, England.
