Alexander was born about 1492. Alexander's father was David Home and his mother is Isabel Hoppringil. His paternal grandfather was George Home and his paternal grandmother is Mariota Sinclair. He had two sisters named Isabel and Margaret. He was the oldest of the three children. He died before May 1565.General Notes
