Jesse Hockett 
Jesse was born on April 18th, 1799 in Grayson, VA. Jesse's father was Jonathan Hockett and his mother was Mary Williams. His paternal grandparents were Anthony Hoggatt and Mary Stanley; his maternal grandparents were Richard Williams and Prudence Beals. He had three brothers and a sister, named Seth, Mahlon, Jonathon and Anna. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 63 on September 13th, 1862 in Clinton Co., OH.General Notes
