Samuel McLaughlin Hobson 
Samuel McLaughlin was born in 1853. Samuel McLaughlin's father was William L. Hobson and his mother was Mary Ann Bamberg. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Hobson and Judy Murphy. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Jackson C., George W., William L., Handsford, Windham, Joseph Robert, John B., Francis P., Huldah, Julia Malinda, Irene, Mary Ann and Maria Adeline. He was the second youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 77 in 1930.General Notes
