Joab Hobson 
Joab was born in July 1826 in NC. Joab's father was Arthur Hobson and his mother was Catherine Moffatt. His paternal grandfather was William Hobson and his paternal grandmother is Mary Cashett. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Aaron Samuel, Marion, Charles William, Polk, James K., Arville, George Moffatt Dallas, John A., Elisha A., Mary, Rosannah, May E., Missouri and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 79 on February 18th, 1906 in Darien, Dent Co., MO.General Notes
