Charles William was born on October 27th, 1837 in Randolph Co., IN. Charles William's father was Arthur Hobson and his mother was Catherine Moffatt. His paternal grandfather was William Hobson and his paternal grandmother is Mary Cashett. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Joab, Aaron Samuel, Marion, Polk, James K., Arville, George Moffatt Dallas, John A., Elisha A., Mary, Rosannah, May E., Missouri and Elizabeth. He was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 70 on January 28th, 1908 in Hobson, Dent Co., MO.General Notes
