Silas Hiatt 
Silas was born on October 14th, 1793 in New Garden Mm, Guilford, NC. Silas' father was Jonathan Hiatt and his mother was Rachel Williams. His paternal grandparents are John Hiatt and Sarah Hodgson; his maternal grandfather was Silas Williams and his maternal grandmother is Mary Hunt. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Josiah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 on June 22nd, 1855 in Wabash Co., IN.General Notes
