Silas Hiatt 
Silas was born on April 7th, 1787. Silas' father was William Hiatt and his mother was Charity Williams. His paternal grandparents are George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield; his maternal grandparents were Richard Williams and Prudence Beals. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joel, Benajah, Isam, Asher, Prudence, Rachel, Ruth, Esther and Rebecca. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
