Rebecca was born on April 18th, 1796 in Guilford, NC. Rebecca's father was William Hiatt and her mother was Charity Williams. Her paternal grandparents are George Hiatt and Martha Wakefield; her maternal grandparents were Richard Williams and Prudence Beals. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joel, Benajah, Isam, Silas, Asher, Prudence, Rachel, Ruth and Esther. She is the youngest of the ten children.General Notes
