Karl Von Hessen-Darmstadt 
Karl Von was born in 1809. Karl Von's father was Ludwig II von Hessen and his mother was Wilhelmine Zahringen. His paternal grandparents were Ludwig I Von Rhein and Louise Von Hessen-Darmstadt; his maternal grandparents were Karl Ludwig Zahringen and Amalie Friederike Von Hessen-Darmstadt. He had a brother named Alexander Von. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 68 in 1877.General Notes
