Henry was born in 1405 in Codnor, Derbyshire, England. Henry's father was Richard Grey and his mother was Elizabeth Basset. His paternal grandfather was Henry Grey and his paternal grandmother is Johanna De Cobham; his maternal grandfather was Ralph+ Basset and his maternal grandmother is Alice Derby. He had a sister named Elizabeth. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 39 on July 17th, 1444.General Notes
