Eleanor+ was born about 1267 in Wotton, Devonshire, England. Eleanor+'s father was Hugh De+ Courtenay and her mother was Eleanor Le+ Despencer. Her paternal grandparents were John De+ Courtenay and Isabelle De+ Vere; her maternal grandfather was Hugh II Le+ Despencer and her maternal grandmother is First Wife+ X. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh De+, Egeline De+ and Isabel De+. She was the oldest of the four children. She died before 1330.General Notes
