Alexander Gordon-Sutherland 
Alexander was born in 1552 in Darnaway Castle, Sutherland, Scotland. Alexander's father was John Gordon and his mother was Helen Stewart. His paternal grandfather was Alexander Gordon and his paternal grandmother is Janet Stewart; his maternal grandfather was John Stewart and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Stewart. He had a brother and three sisters, named John, Margaret, Janet and Eleanor. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Adam and Jean. He died at the age of 42 on December 6th, 1594.General Notes
