Alexander Gordon 
Alexander was born about 1501. Alexander's father was Adam Gordon and his mother was Elizabeth Sutherland. His paternal grandparents were George+ Gordon and Annabella+ Stewart; his maternal grandfather was John Sutherland and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Macdonald. He was an only child.
