Borter Gibson

Borter was born on November 9th, 1793 in Stokes Co., NC. Borter's father was Garrett Gibson and his mother was Prudence Sumner. His maternal grandparents were Robert Sumner and Phoebe Beals. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Garrett, Amelia, Anna and Valentine. He is the youngest of the six children.
