William Garretson 
William was born in 1716 in Mill Creek, New Castle, DE. William's father was Casparus Garretson and his mother was Ann Cox. His maternal grandparents were John Cox and Rachel Embree Carr. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Ann, Rebecca, Martha and Naomi. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Nathan and Susanna. He died at the age of 76 in 1792.General Notes
