John Garretson

John was born on September 6th, 1710 in New Castle Co., DE. John's father was Casparus Garretson and his mother was Ann Cox. His maternal grandparents were John Cox and Rachel Embree Carr. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, William, Ann, Rebecca, Martha and Naomi. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Nathan and Susanna. He died at the age of 87 on October 30th, 1797 in York Co., PA.
