Alexander Elphinstone 
Alexander was born about 1610. Alexander's father is James Elphinstone and his mother is Margaret Forbes. His paternal grandfather was Alexander Elphinstone and his paternal grandmother is Jean Livingstone. He was an only child. He died in December 1654.General Notes
