Jackson was born on December 25th, 1813 in Ft. LaMont, NorthWest Territory. Jackson's father was Richard+ Easton and his mother was Elizabeth+ Heaton. His paternal grandparents were John+ Eastin and Mary Elender+ Orchard; his maternal grandfather was Nm+ Heaton and his maternal grandmother is Eleanor+ Orchard. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Silas, Daniel+, Stephen, Zacariah, Richard Westeroak+, George Washington, Harmon, Sarena Arena, Deliah, Elizabeth and Nancy Jane. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 47 on December 21st, 1861 in Green Co., IL.General Notes
