Francis Marion Easton

Francis Marion was born in 1839 in Cumberland Co., IL. Francis Marion's father was Richard Westeroak+ Easton and his mother was Cynthia+ Waldrop. His paternal grandparents were Richard+ Easton and Elizabeth+ Heaton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Silas Asberry+, Jasper Newton, Wesley L, Dumas Vanderian, Taylor, Delilah, Melinda and Harriet Mariah. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 26 on January 2nd, 1865 in Andersonville Military Prison, Florence, SC.
