Mary Jane was born in 1847 in IL. Mary Jane's father was Van Swearingen Eastin and her mother was Sarah M. Doty. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Smith Eastin and Sarah Swearingen; her maternal grandparents are Jonathan Doughty and Anna Mann. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Van Doughty, Thomas B., Martha Ellen and Sarah E.. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 72 on December 26th, 1919 in Henryetta, Okmulgee Co., OK.General Notes
