The 1880 US Census for Vine Prairie, Crawford, Arkansas shows John and wife Mary Jane (Eastin) Wells with sons William, John W., Walter, and Van Edgar, and dau. Sarah. John`s family lived next door to John and Cynthia Wells, dau. of Isaac Wells and Martha (Eastin) Wells, who in turn lived next door to Cynthia`s father, Isaac. Sources 1880 US Census, and S103.
James Brady and Mary Jane were married in a religious ceremony in 1865. They had four sons and a daughter, named William, John W., Walter, Van Edgar and Sarah.
