James Buchanan Dye 
James Buchanan was born on March 13th, 1852 in Hancock Co., IL. James Buchanan's father was William Dye and his mother was Susannah Cameron. His paternal grandparents were James Dye and Barbara Livengood. He had a brother and three sisters, named John C., Jane, Frances I. and Minnie. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 84 on July 16th, 1936 in Kirksville, Adair Co., MO. He was buried in Bullion, Adair Co., MO.General Notes
