Peter Livengood 
Peter was born on December 16th, 1733 in Gumbrechshoffen, Alace, France. Peter's father was Hans Jacob Liebengut and his mother was Ann Margaretha Schafer. His paternal grandfather is Jacob Liebengut. He had a brother and three sisters, named Hans Jacob, Barbara, Elizabeth+ and Anna Magdelena. He died at the age of 80 on January 6th, 1814 in Upper Branch Muddy Creek, Whiteley Twp., Green Co., PA. He was buried in Green Co., PA.General Notes
"Peter arrived in Philadelphia, PA with his father's family on August 28, 1750... . (He) was a founder at the Colebrookdale Furnace, just south of Boyertown. About 1768, Peter and his brother Jacob moved to Frederick County, VA. In March 1776, he enlisted in the 8th VA Regiment and served until his escape from the British in June 1780, after the defeat at Charleston."
