According to "Goodwin-Land" tree, Susannah Cameron was said through the generations to be a daughter of Henry Lee (Lighthorse Harry Lee) and therefore sister of Robert E., but this has not been confirmed. According to family history as stated by source, they were also told that Susannah was a granddaughter of Tomas Ludwell Lee and if so, she would have been a cousin and not a sister to Robert E. Lee. She was buried in a black alpaca dress given to her by General Robert E. Lee, however.
Susan (Cameron) Dye was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.). They moved to MO from IL in 1866.
