Alexander Douglas-Hamilton 
Alexander was born on October 5th, 1767 in London, England. Alexander's father was Archibald Douglas-Hamilton and his mother was Harriet Stewart. His paternal grandparents were James Douglas-Hamilton and Anne Spencer; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Stewart and Catherine Cochrane. He had two sisters named Charlotte and Susan. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 84 on August 18th, 1852 in London, England.General Notes
