Peter was born on December 4th, 1705 in Warwich, Cheshire, England. Peter's father was Peter Cook and his mother was Elinor Norman. His paternal grandparents are John+ Cook and Mary+ X; his maternal grandparents are Johannes+ Norman and Maria+ Worral. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, Thomas, Abraham, Samuel, Mary, Rebecca and Elinor. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
