Samuel Cook 
Samuel was born on December 15th, 1738 in Warrington Twp., York, PA. Samuel's father was Peter Cook and his mother was Sarah Gilpin. His paternal grandparents were Peter Cook and Elinor Norman; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Gilpin and Hannah Glover. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, George, Jesse, Peter, Ruth, Lydia, Hannah, Ann and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 61 on August 10th, 1800 in Warrington Twp., York, PA.General Notes
