Roger+ was born in 1221 in Clifford's Castle, Herefordshire, England. Roger+'s father was Roger De+ Clifford and his mother was Sybil De+ Ewyas. His paternal grandfather was Walter II+ De Clifford and his paternal grandmother is Agnes De+ Conde; his maternal grandparents were Robert II De+ Ewyas and Petronilla De+ Scudamore. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Geoffrey De, Robert De+ and Lucy De+. He died at the age of 64 in 1285.General Notes
