Hugh D'+ was born about 1053 in Avranches, Normandy, France. Hugh D'+'s father was Richard d'Avranches Le+ Goz and his mother is Emma De+ Conteville. His paternal grandparents were Thurston De+ Goz and Judith Of+ Normandy; his maternal grandfather was Herluin De+ Conteville and his maternal grandmother is Arlette De+ Falaise. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Raoul I De La+, Albert De Greseley D'+, Emma De La, Maud D'+, Judith D'+, Helissende D'+ and Arabella Loop D'+.
