Walter II+ De was born about 1150. Walter II+ De's father was Walter De+ Clifford and his mother was Margaret De+ Toeni. His paternal grandfather was Richard De Saint Pons De+ Clifford and his paternal grandmother is Maude Fitzwalter De+ Pitres; his maternal grandparents were Raoul IV De+ Toeni and Alice Of+ Huntingdon. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard De+, Rosamond De+ and Lucia De+. He was the youngest of the four children. He died on January 22nd, 1222.General Notes
According to Renaud de Paysac (Tompsett) at geneastar.org, in "The House of Clifford", Chapter 6, reference is made to William becoming incapable or senile.
