William Canaday

William was born on December 22nd, 1809 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson Co., TN. William's father is Henry Canaday and his mother is Matilda Barnard. His paternal grandfather is John Canaday and his paternal grandmother was Margaret Thornburgh. He had four brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, John, Jonathan, Frederick and Mary. He is the youngest of the six children.
