Charlotte Van was born about 1488. Charlotte Van's father was Walraf II Van Brederode and her mother was Margareta Van Borsselen. Her paternal grandfather is Reinald II Van Brederode and her paternal grandmother was Yolande De Lalaing; her maternal grandparents were Wolfart VI Van Borsselen and Charlotte De Bourbon-Montpensier. She had a brother and a sister, named Wolfart Van and Francoise Van. She had a half-sister named Walburga Van. She died on September 28th, 1529.General Notes
