Jean De was born on March 13th, 1381. Jean De's father was Louis II De Bourbon and his mother was Anne D' Auvergne. His paternal grandparents were Pierre I De Bourbon and Isabelle De Valois; his maternal grandfather was Beraud II D' Auvergne and his maternal grandmother is Jeanne De Forez. He was an only child.
