Beraud I D' was born about 1315. Beraud I D''s father was Jean I D' Auvergne and his mother is Anne De Poitiers-Valentinois. His paternal grandparents were Robert D' Auvergne and Alix De Mercoeur; his maternal grandparents are Aymar IV De Poitiers-Valentinois and Marguerite De Geneva. He had a sister named Isabeau D'.
