Walraf I Van was born about 1388. Walraf I Van's father was Reinald I Van Brederode and his mother was Johanna Van Gennep. His paternal grandparents were DIrk III Van Brederode and Beatrix Von Kleve; his maternal grandparents are Jan Van Gennep and Johanna Bot. He was an only child. He died due to being killed. on December 1st, 1417 in Gorinchem.General Notes
