James Boone

James was born on March 5th, 1757 in Bear Creek, Yadkin Co., NC. James' father was Daniel Boone and his mother was Rebecah Bryan. His paternal grandparents were Squire Boone and Sarah Morgan; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Bryan and Alice Linville. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Israel, Daniel Morgan, Jessie Bryan, William Ryan, Nathaniel, Susannah, Jemima, Levinia and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 16 on October 10th, 1773 in Wallens Ridge, KY.
