Dorcas Bond 
Dorcas was born on February 16th, 1788 in Surry, NC. Dorcas' father was Samuel Bond and her mother was Elizabeth Beals. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Bond and Martha Rogers; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Beals and Sarah Antrim. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Joseph S., Thomas, Samuel, Mordecai, Ornon, Martha, Margaret, Sarah, Rachel, Elizabeth and Ruth. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.
