George Edward Ashbaugh 
George Edward was born on August 6th, 1847 in KY. George Edward's father was James Christopher Ashbaugh and his mother was Suellen Elender Thompson. His paternal grandparents were David Ashbaugh and Catherine Shoptaugh. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John William, Frederick, Joseph H., Thomas, Anne E., Mary Jane, Julia, Verlinda, Eliza Ann, Mariah, Missouri and Belle. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 78 on May 3rd, 1926 in Nelson Co., KY. He was buried on May 5th, 1926 in River View Cemetery, Cox' Creek, KY.General Notes
