Thomas was born in 1314 in Broughton, Buckinghamshire, England.  Thomas' father was Robert de Holand and his mother was Maud la Zouche.  His paternal grandfather was Sir Knight Robert de Holland II and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth de Salmesbury; his maternal grandparents were Alan la Zouche and Eleanor Segrave. He had a sister named Elizabeth.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 46 on December 26th, 1360 in Normandy, France.  He was buried in Grey Friars Church, Stamford, Lincolnshire, England.


Thomas' family with Princess Joan ("Fair Maid of Kent") Plantagenet of Wales

‌Thomas and "Fair Maid of Kent" were married in a religious ceremony in 1346.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Thomas, John and Margaret.
