Flavius Valentiniam was born on July 2nd, 0419 in Ravenna.  Flavius Valentiniam's father was Emperor Constantius III Flavius of Rome-West and his mother was Empress Aelia Galla Placidia of Rome-West.  His paternal grandfather was Emperor Flavius Valerius Constantius ("the Great") II of Rome and his paternal grandmother is Princess Flavia Maximiana Fausta of Rome; his maternal grandparents were Emperor Theodosius Augustus ("the Great") I of Rome and Galla Justina Valentinia. He had a sister named Julia Gratia Honoria.  He died  due to murdered in Rome.

‌Flavius Valentiniam and "the Elder" were married in a religious ceremony on October 29th, 0437 in Constantinople.  They had a daughter named "the Younger".
