Thorfinn Rollo, known as "Hausakliffer" [Skull-splitter], was born about 0890 in Orkney Islands, Scotland.  "Hausakliffer" [Skull-splitter]'s father was Earl Einar ("Turf") Rognvaldsson of Orkney.  His paternal grandfather was Earl Ragnvald ("the Wise") Eysteinsson I of Orkney and his paternal grandmother is Princess Groa of Trondheim.  He was an only child.  He died after 0977.  He was buried in Burial Mound, Hoxa, Ronaldsay, Scotland.


"Hausakliffer" [Skull-splitter]'s family with Grelod Duncansdatter

‌"Hausakliffer" [Skull-splitter] and Grelod were married in a religious ceremony in 0914 in Orkney Islands, Scotland.  They had a son named Hlodver.
