His paternal grandparents were Amaury II Baron De Montfort and Bertrade De Gometz; his maternal grandparents were Richard Count Devereux and Godhilda Goodchild Adelaide of Barcelona. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard De, Simon II De, Amaury III De, Bertrade and Adeliza. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Amauri 'The Strong' De, Eva Eve de, Isabel de, Isabel De and Isabel. He died on August 27th, 1101.General Notes
