Abijah Hadley

Abijah was born on December 6th, 1824.¹ Abijah's father was Joseph Hadley and her mother was Susannah Woody. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hadley and Mary Cashat. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named James, Samuel, Mary, Jane, Sarah, Rachel, Rebecca, Eleanor, Ruth and Eunice. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named ? and Susannah. She died at 10 months old on October 10th, 1825 in North Carolina.¹
