William de Ferrers 
William de was born about 1088 in of Derby, Derbyshire, England. William de's father was Robert de Ferrers 1st Earl of Derby and his mother was Hawise de Vitre. His paternal grandparents were Sir Henry de Ferrers and Dame Berta Roberts; his maternal grandfather was Andre Gui de Vitrie Seigneur de Vitrie and his maternal grandmother is Agnes de Mortain Burgh. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Walcheline de, Robert II De, Agnes de, Maud de, Hawise de, de and Isolda de. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died before 1139.General Notes
